My project was an upgrade to a pair of old garage door openers, installation of new torsion springs, and replacement of the rollers on the door. Carl Richardson came out late Wednesday, scoped out the garage, and gave me a quote. I signed and he started the installation early Thursday. He was done before noon.
There were two glitches before the openers were working completely. First, it took a day to get the openers on my WiFi network (due to an iOS incompatibility I pinned down through trial and error--for this I blame LiftMaster). Second, I needed a HomeLink repeater to get the buttons in my cars working (because of the age of the cars, I should have been ready for it), and Amazon got it here overnight.
Neither of these glitches detract from the superb install that Carl did. He was exceptionally responsive to my questions and concerns, very easy to work with. and--most importantly--the installation is a thing of beauty. Wires are dressed neatly and stapled to the wall, the old openers and wiring removed completely, and the job site completely clean of any detritus. If I could give Carl six stars I would. Recommend without reservation.
