First, I want to say this company was very prompt. I called and they sent a technician out the very next day. The technician called me to see if it was ok to come by earlier than scheduled. I was already at the house and welcomed an early appointment. Our garage door motor was extremely old, older than any the technician had worked on before. However, he was very diligent about getting our old system operational. He also installed an external receiver so we could use a remote to open/close the garage door.
My girlfriend has been wanting to park her car in the garage for at least the last 15 years! We've been able to open the extremely heavy door manually. However, we have both sustained injuries to our bodies by lifting the awkward door.
It is such a relief to just push a button and have the garage door open and close. The things we take for granted when they work, right?
Anyway, I am very happy to write this review.
Although the technician did quote me the pricing for a new door and motor (and yes, we legitimately do need everything he quoted), he didn't push me to buy anything. He spent the time necessary to get our old garage door motor adjusted properly so that we can continue using it until it inevitably fails in the future. Right now, a repair was in the budget, a new door and motor was not.
