Your service people are all good. The problem was the delicate wiring--thin little white sensor wires--that came loose during our spring cleaning. The diagram on page 14 of your manual has one white wire and one checker-board, but in the real world of my garage both wires look white. Therefore, when I tried to reconnect the wires, I did it wrong. Don't get me wrong. The Marantec is a great machine. And you folks at Precision have rescued us more than once. But if you have an influence at Marantec, you might drop them a note about the sensor connection that breed confusion in the eye of the homeowner-customer. Tell them: this important connection is CHEAP. Again, the service was great. Mister Leone was polite and full of knowledge. And thanks for riding to the rescue at full speed! RJ Ray in Seattle.

Sean called ahead as promised, and even arrived ahead of time. He was professional and courteous and quickly diagnosed the problem. He made the repair, and then checked the tracks, tightened screws and because it is an old door, provided some other information on how to keep it working. He was outgoing and cheerful throughout. After living in this house for 40 years, I decided I needed a garage-door opener for my heavy, original door. By coincidence, I met Sean who was visiting another client. I asked him to take a look. He described a solution and about a week later was able to install. He carefully explained what he had done [I watched periodically]. I learned that these openers are sophisticated machines with a lot of fail-safe protections. Sean noted that because of the construction of the garage, a jack-shaft opener would be best. Outstanding service and product.
