Ben arrived promptly at 10AM and set about checking issues with the garage door assemblies, made some notations and discussed issues that required attention in addition to a broken torsion spring. Ben was very thorough in his inspection and found two bearing races that required replacement, door rebalancing and replacement of rollers that had developed flat spots from wear, in addition to replacing both torsion springs. It was agreed that his attentions were well received and the work began. Door assembly and all components work better than before, and I am thoroughly pleased with the level of expertise and care that Ben showed through his work. Great Job! I am completely satisfied with Precision Door from Day 1 (Oct 28 2005). They’ve only had to service the doors twice and both times it was covered under the lifetime warranty. The doors are so quiet, it’s unbelievable. The service tech (Austin) was so polite and knowledgeable. Knew exactly what the problem was. Every time we tried to close the garage door it would bounce and reopen. I called Precision to come and take a look, they happened to have an appointment open next day!! Happened to be my birthday :). The tech came out and figured it was a clip that came off and started to troubleshoot. Decided it was the rail and quoted me, I knew it would cost me so I was prepared. Replaced the rail and continues to troubleshoot, something was not quite right. Turns out motor was bad, but since that is a lifetime warranty part, he replaced it! I was shocked, surprised and well, overjoyed!!! Covered by warranty! How often do you hear this? Precision installed the doors, the opener and has been the only company I call if there is a problem. They have done all maintenance, replaced springs and now a motor replacement. I have always had quality work and great workers! Over 15 years of service for this family.
