I had previously reached out to Precision to get a garage door service in July 2019. When Ben came out to look over the system, he spent time to debug the issue, try out a few different things and then make a recommendation. All the actions he took in diagnosing the issues were professional and well thought out. He gave me the option of replacing the mother board (wait 8 to 10 weeks to get the part) or replace the entire system (with lifetime warranty). There was a significant price difference between the two options, and I did not feel rushed or pressured into purchasing the new system. After some more conversation with Ben, I decided to replace the garage door. As Ben left, he told me - "you will never have to worry about this again. If anything does not work, just call me. Almost everything is covered under lifetime warranty, so don't try to fix things yourself. Even if it is just to reset the remote."
Come Apr 2020, one late evening, I suddenly found that the garage door stopped working again. Skeptically, I reached out to Ben to see if there was anything that could be done. Lo and behold, Ben managed to squeeze me into his schedule the very next day. So in less than 24 hours of my garage door working, I had someone ready to stop by and help me out. This is great I thought. By the time Ben arrived, he had already looked up all the details in his system and knew that I was not kidding on the lifetime warranty. He got right to work, replaced the motherboard, tried to replace the sensors, but nothing would work. So he just took down the old unit and replaced it with a brand new one. Simply amazing! The lifetime warranty did truly work out for me in this case. It was a super cool experience getting serviced in less than 24 hours at absolutely no cost to me, just like I was promised almost a year ago. Left me super impressed with Ben and the company overall. I definitely would recommend reaching out to Precision for any garage door related problems.
