Called several times and spoke to several of your phone staff to get quotes over the phone. Was told 89.95 service fee (which I was led to believe included installation and adjustment). Was told 159 to 209 for a single spring replacement. I asked explicitly and repeatedly, "so the most my bill will be for is approximately 300 + tax". Was told yes. Showed Antonio my coupon for free service fee. He explained the service fee was for him to come out and give me a quote only, which he deducted from my final bill with my coupon. However, I was charged a 89.95 lube and tune and was also told I needed a center flange w/bearing. I was also charged a 15.95 environmental fee. I believe I was misled by several individuals on the phone when I inquired about a quote. Should have been told what the service fee was for. Should have been told there would be a lube and tune fee (don't dispute I needed it, expect every service for a broken spring needs it). Should have been told I needed a center bearing (don't dispute I need it, expect every service for a broken spring needs it). And should have been told there would be an environmental fee. Very disappointed with the inadequate information I received over the phone when I on multiple times requested a quote. Nothing short of deceptive.
On the bright side of things, Antonio was great. Replaced my broken single spring with 2 springs, replaced the center bearing and lubed and tuned the tension on the door. It operates better now than I think it ever has.
Happy with Antonio and the service he and your company provided. Very disappointed with your company's phone service quote inquiry process. It would seem a simple thing to provide your phone staff with a list of minimum required hardware and services for a given job, understanding that there might be upgrades or adjustments as necessary when the Tech inspects the job. If your folks aren't trained to provide a quote which includes all the reasonably expected charges, your policy should be that they do not provide a quote. Again, that part of the experience I had with your company was deceptive.
